Apple conference started just after 19:00, to finish to 21h. Here the successive announcements.
Given a prism used to iOS / OS X, the novel aspects of the WWDC 2013 are significant. The dual screen is updated and full-screen applications become (finally) used 100%. Previously, a full-screen application made the inaccessible secondary screen Dock and the search bar. Point Gone with OS X Mavericks.
Siri, the voice assistant, has been expanded and is able to assist the user in driving. The cloud by Apple has been put forward, with "iCloud Keychain" to save passwords securely, or "iWork in iCloud" to register the iWork in the cloud.
iOS 7 catches the backlog and offers less rigid and more pleasant interface, if not completely new.
Notably absent from the conference are the iPhone, MacBook Pro and iPad, without new models announced.
In short, WWDC brings freshness in the Apple world, news that will be very popular with users. However, when one takes a step back, we realize that rivals like Android OS have already accomplished what Apple offers swarm. When will a real novelty?
